Meredith Mac Rae, was known for her television roles as Billie Jo on "Petticoat Junction" and Sally Ann in "My Three Sons" but everyone who met her knew she was much more than a TV star. She showed her depth when she later created and hosted an original series of specials called "Born Famous", and won an Emmy for her work as a talk show host on "Mid-Morning Los Angeles". She fought for the underdogs (especially women), and her charity work was unending. Meredith MacRae died on July 14, 2000, at just fifty-six years old. Her website honors her memory.
